RPS Monthly Competition-Texture

A surprise e mail confirmed my image 'Golden Grasses' had been chosen as one of the three winning images for February. It will appear in the April edition of the 'Journal', the Royal Photographic Society's monthly publication.

It was shot on a frosty morning at Westleton Heath in Suffolk, and benefits from some gorgeous warm back-lighting. It was one of those shots that you stumble upon when out shooting other stuff. I hadn't planned it, but glad I didn't pass the opportunity up. It's one of my favourite images of the winter so far.
