ABOUT ME
Welcome along to my website.
Since shooting film back in the late 1980's, there was a big gap in my photography of around 22 years, before I embraced digital. You could say I was very late to the party. I shoot Nikon, for no other reason than this was the first digital camera I purchased, so my collection of lenses is built around Nikon bodies.
I originate from North Wales, but since 2000 I have lived in the beautiful county of Suffolk, in East Anglia, where the majority of my images are taken. We don't have big wide open mountainous vistas, but what we do have, is a varied landscape, from the delicate meadows to the harsh coastline of the North Sea, it all presents its own set of challenges.
The primary purpose of this website is to have somewhere to showcase what I consider to be my better images, rather than a platform to sell them, but should you be impressed enough to want to purchase a print, or indeed have any queries regarding my work, please don't hesitate to contact me using the contact page, or via my social media links below.
Light is everything in Photography, and even more so when trying to make an image out of seemingly nothing. Without light, we are dead in the water as landscape photographers. My images aim to use that light in such a way as to render simple subjects, things of beauty to look at. Do I succeed? Well that is not for me to say. It is for you, the viewer to decide.
